General Colin L. Powell agrees

I love it when others agree that I’m right. Don’t go thinking “I can’t believe he said that!”. You know you like it too. Yesterday, I was minding my own business drinking a venti Anniversary blend at Starbucks when I read my cup(The Way I See It #273). General Powell totally agreed with my blog from yesterday. Here’s the quote from the cup:
“All children need a laptop. Not a computer, but a human laptop. Moms, dads, grannies and grandpas, aunts, uncles – someone to hold them, read to them. Loved ones who will embrace them and pass on the experience, rituals and knowledge of a hundred previous generations. Loved ones who will pass to the next generation their expectations of them, their hopes, and their dreams.”
Let’s be intentional to pass the baton to the next generation. If we hope for them to mature by accident that’s exactly what we’ll have – an accident.
