Did you stand in line yet? At most mega-marts this a time to crowd into the greeting card aisle and select a card. Is this just an artificial holiday created by the marketing machines at the greeting card companies?
I don't know if matters or not. You can go to Wikipedia and read what they think. It is always a good idea to think about love. Yes, I know our culture has diluted the concept of love. (See my blog on love here.) Some folks today are celebrating romance or lust. I'm celebrating love.
There remains a burning hope within me that love, real love, changes people.
After all, isn't that the gospel?
