The Model Prayer

I have been taught and taught others that the Lord's Prayer is actually the disciple's prayer. It is in response to the the disciple's request "Lord, teach us to pray" that Jesus gives us this brief but powerful outline or sample prayer. Now more than ever, we need to be recaptured by the transcendence of life truly connected to God. I can't image living only by the scientific method.
