We have a mandate from God to do our best. As believers and representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to work, study, lead etc....as representing Him. That is a huge responsibility. However, after we have done all we can...we still must live by faith and trust the sovereignty of God. Check out this verse:
Proverbs 21:31 HCSB "A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory comes from the LORD."Do your best. Trust your God. Watch your God. Live in peace
