The Never-Ending Thrill

Week Six - Day Two

Relationships.  Live is boring without relationships.  People add joy and companionship and spice to our lives...people can also cause us pain.  That is the thrill! Be careful...sometimes we are so busy building walls to protect ourselves from hurt that we wall out love.  

In the AWTP journal today Max Lucado is quoted saying,

"What matters most in life is not what ladders we climb or what ownings we accumulate. What matters most is a relationship." -- Max Lucado

We have been on this journey for five weeks praying for our friends. We are praying that they would also become Christ-followers and disciples.  We have to get close enough to let them see our lives.  It could be painful.

Takeaway - Being close enough to love means you are also close enough to be injured.  That is the reward and the risks of relationships.
