Tim Tebow Waits

In case you are not a Tim Tebow fan (how can you not be one?). It seems that he is an amazing hybrid somewhere between Joe Montana, Billy Graham, and Ronald Regan.
Here's another reason. When some reporter asked Tim if he was a virgin at the SEC Press Days this week he replied "Yes". Kudos to Tim Tebow for living out what he professes!

Just a few weeks until college football starts again. Personally, I'm dreading the game in Jacksonville and awful glad that Tim Tebow is a senior.

One More Tim Tebow Post

I know the buzz surrounding the Florida Gators and Tim Tebow has almost been overwhelming (especially if you are a University of Georgia fan). But I think we need one more post.
America needs a good dose of Tim Tebow. Like Tebow, we need to develop a hard work ethic. We need more enthusiasm. We need more boldness in sharing our faith in Christ. We need to take responsibility for our lives and our friends. Tebow's post-Ole Miss lost speech will live in college football history. America, my sons, and frankly, I need a hero.
Tim Tebow fits that bill. I am glad he is boldly living out his faith...even if that is in Gainesville, FL as the leader of the Gator Nation.

Random Sports Thoughts

Georgia wasn't extremely impressive on Saturday. I agree with Tony Barnhard that "the Dawgs won't beat FL or LSU unless they lose the penalties."
Speaking of FL/LSU, I thought that the Gator's offense has awakened. I think that they can score and score often on anyone. Give Urban Meyer and his offensive staff props for finding a way to put the ball in the hands of all that speed.
The Atlanta Falcons had a crazy comeback yesterday. Matt Ryan appears to be the real deal.
Finally, The Tampa Bay Rays are 2-1 on the Bo Sox in the ALCS? Who'd da thunk it?
