Mission Impossible!

Week Five - Day One

Did you see the Max Lucado quote in today's reading in the AWTP prayer journal? Here it is again:

"To know God's will, we must totally surrender to God's will. Our tendency is to make God's decision for him. . . Don't go to God with options and expect Him to choose one of your preferences. Go to Him with Empty hands--no hidden agendas, no crossed fingers, nothing behind you back. Go to him with a willingness to do whatever he says." -- Max Lucado

Jesus called this "poor in spirit"(Matthew 5:3).  Out of our spiritual poverty, we have the strength to live in our weakness.  It really is upside down (catch the shameless plug for Adrenaline 18?)  You can't live without Jesus.  You can exist but you can't live.

Takeaway: "My life flows from abiding not acting."

Here's one last verse to fuel you today:

“Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:37‬ ‭TPT‬‬
