Week One - Day Four b
Proverbs 18:24 (CEV) Some friends don't help, but a true friend is closer than your own family.
What’s the Point?
Probably the ultimate expression of love for another is when you say, “I‟ll pray for you,” and then are faithful to pray. In praying for someone else, you‟re saying, “You are important to me, and I love you so much, that the best I can do for you is to talk to God about you.” You can ask God to bless them, or help them, or most importantly, to bring them to the understanding that they need a Savior.
Think About It
A true friend can be even closer than a family member. If you love your friend, you‟ll want to pray with them if they‟re a Christian and pray for them if they‟re not.
Prayer
Lord, help me to never take for granted the friends You‟ve seen fit to give me.
Can't add to that!
